As you may have heard from all the news outlets and from our previous post, the writing category of the Emmy awards will not be part of the primetime televised portion this year, but instead will be part of the creative Emmy. The I’m With Coco Facebook group and our friends over at NoFactZone.Net are organizing a movement that can help put the category back on the main Emmy telecast. If you would like to help (which we encourage you to do so), it’s very easy, all you have to do is make the call to the Emmy planning offices to get the writers and directors awards back on the air! Here are some tips that our friends over at the Colbert camp and the facebook gang have graciously sent over: May 10
Andy Richter and the writers will be a part of the Just For Laughs festival in Chicago on June 17th, and this event will be taped for a special to be aired on TBS on June 27th.
