Conan: "My dad was this very accomplished guy and my mother was a partner at one of the top law firms in Boston. When I was about five years old I announced, 'I'm gonna be an entertainer.' We had never seen a celebrity in our lives and I'd gotten this idea that all entertainers need to know how to tap dance. So my parents went out and found this guy named Stanley Brown who was a protege of Bill 'Bo Jangles' Robinson and got me lessons."

Ruth: "Stanley Brown would always say, 'That boy has clean tap,' which I guess is a compliment."

Jimmy Fallon to replace Conan

Fox news broke the story that Jimmy Fallon will be the replacement of the Late Night chair when Conan takes over the Tonight Show in 2009. However, NBC will confirm the report when it officially announce it in May.

Conan go Green with Radiohead

Radiohead will appear on US TV from a British studio this week in an exclusive, environmentally-friendly appearance.

The band were scheduled to play live on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" on Wednesday, but decided against flying to America.

Instead, they have pre-recorded a performance of "House Of Cards", to support the NBC network's "Earth Week" initiative.

The decision will prevent Radiohead from leaving a carbon footprint equal to a year's motoring, according to reports.
